Quote of the Day:
The greatest achievement of the human spirit is to live up to one’s opportunities, and to make the most of one’s resources.

Hey I didn’t blog yesterday.
I got my first round of edits on Talk Dirty To Me this past weekend. My editor has some very minor things and said I was “an editor’s dream come true†and that the hero and heroine were very believable, likeable people. WOO! So this week I’ll be working on the edits and getting them back to the editor.
Sweetie Boy and I visited with my mom this weekend. Afterward, we went to McDonald’s and I let him play for a bit. There was a birthday party going on with a large family. I could tell the kids were all cousins and the adults were grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles. As I stood there watching my son play with the other kids, all of the sudden, I felt little arms wrap around my leg. Looking down, there was this little blonde haired, blue eyed angels grinning up at me. Don’t know if she got me confused with her mother or what. So I smiled and said, “Hi!†When she realized I wasn’t someone she knew she let go and ran away. :hehe:
I was in Penney’s the other day and they have the bedding I really want on sale for half price. I am so tempted! It’s this beautiful white comforter with little embroidered flowers in red and yellow with green leaves and vines. It’s thick and cozy and just beautiful. I’m hot to have it. I stood in the store and fondled it for a good ten minutes. And it IS on sale after all…I think I need to get it…
So, don’t GET IT or anything! 😉 I’m sorry, but any fondling above and beyond FIVE minutes is immediate grounds for purchase, in my book.
Isn’t the rule “you fondle it, you’ve bought it?” I think you’d better rush your bum back to that store and pick it up. And then every night as you crawl into bed you will celebrate how FABULOUS it is. Do it. Do it. Why are you still reading this! Do it.
Congrats on what your editor said about your work! And definitely you HAVE to get the bedding to celebrate!
The Samhain editors rock! :rockin: I told mine I was having fun and hoped she didn’t think me weird! :hehe: (Though like you, I really didn’t have much to edit). I guess YR knows how to grow ’em! 😀
