This was a really fast week! I can’t believe it’s Friday already, though I’m not complaining.
Had soccer practice last night and it was super windy. However, I did get to read my book for one solid hour of uninterrupted time. It’s awesome. I’m currently reading Rosemary Clement-Moore’s Highway to Hell. It took an unexpected turn about midway through and had me gasping for breath. Seriously.
I also was able to get some work done on Phoenix. I’m very pleased with the new material I’ve written so far. It’s really coming along. My Rome DVDs arrived the other day and I watched the first episode about Sparticus and it gave me some ideas. I have a feeling that was the best $20 I ever spent.
Also dealt with an issue related to the contest. Hopefully, all will be well now.
Not much else to report other than I have a jam-packed weekend. Again. Soccer on Saturday and then I need to put in a full day at the computer on Sunday, if I can. And sometime or another I need to get my Lowe’s and get some lawn stuff. I have dandelions instead of grass, so I’m going to try and rectify that this year with the help of Man.
And that’s it! How about you?
Hi, fellow Popculturediva! ‘I have dandelions instead of grass’ – LOL! We still have slabs of snow instead of dandelions or grass.
My grass is still in hibernation. At this point, I’d go for dandelions!!

Have a happy weekend!
Hi, Julia! Thanks for stopping by!
Snow? What’s that? ๐ Here in Texas, we see mostly ice. hehe
I’m getting ready to leave for the site job — no internet or cell phone access all weekend. I’m looking forward to it!
I can’t believe they are going to make those kids play soccer in this weather. Yikes it’s freezing outside. ๐ก
