Frigid

So the weatherman tells us it’s going to get SUPER cold here in the next couple of days. We’re talking highs in the 20s and lows in the single digits with a BELOW ZERO wind chill. I foresee lots of coffee and fires in the fireplace in our future. Talk about BRR! This is unusually cold for Texas. I have a feeling it’s not going to get much better as winter continues. I’m afraid we’ll have a few ice days and I just don’t do ice. I will be staying home, thankyouverymuch.

I’m really trying to get some things wrapped up with one chapter so I can focus on the writing. I’m proud of myself, though. I wrote just over 1000 words yesterday. It felt GREAT. I’m glad to get back into the swing of things with the writing. Plus I signed up for an awesome working on mythic elements. Can’t wait to see what that’s all about.

My local chapter’s annual contest is well underway. I’m trying to minimize some time constraints by having the entrant attach the score sheet to the entry before sending it. My hope is that it’s going to save a lot of time in the long run. I hope. It’s very time consuming to sit and add score sheets to each entry before sending out to the judges.

And that’s about all I know. Which isn’t a whole heckuva lot. 😀
