I think I finally saw the creature that’s been stomping around upstairs. She couldn’t weigh more than a hundred pounds but I would have never known that. With the way the wind was today, I’m surprised she didn’t blow away. Apparently, she didn’t because she’s back to stomping around upstairs. I don’t get it. How come something so thin make the sound of an elephant?

Things are looking up. The ex is giving me the laser printer. I’m so thrilled! It’ll save me some money! Not only that, but I’m getting a (rarely) used AlphaSmart 3000 from my friend for a little bit of nothing! So I cancelled my order Monday morning and saved myself yet another $150. WOOHOO! THEN, if that wasn’t enough…I’m toying with the idea of going on a cruise next November.

Life is getting better.

Had my Starbucks plotting party last night and I’m proud to say I wrote four paragraphs! Okay, so I know it’s not much but at least I had something to turn in. I have to get the revised chapter one for Nice Girls Do DONE by Friday for critique. Anyway, was starving when I got home and actually got a second wind. So I ate TGI Friday’s chicken popper thingies (I had the whole box and no one gave a shit), had a glass of water, and then started to write. I know. Don’t fall out of your chair now. 😉

In other writing news, I edited the first six issues of Season 2 of the serial. I pulled together the last six and now I just have to read and edit them. I realized with some horror that Skye and Dane don’t actually get it on for a while and that could be a problem (since this IS a romance serial after all). So I think I’m going to have to accelerate their relationship just a tad. I mean, if I made readers wait until mid-way through Season 4 they might get pissed at me. BUT, that being said, there are some issues Skye has to work out before she can hop in the sack with sexy Dane. There is that whole killing-her-parents-and-not-killing-her-trust thing she’s got going on, ya know.

I look at this artwork every day and I think how completely wonderful it is. I pet it daily. I know it sound bizarre, but I can’t help myself. I love love LOVE it. I have one of the many printouts up on my desk at home so I can stare at it whenever I want. I heart it. I know. I’m a dope.

So…I may be a dope…BUT the keychains have been ordered and they should be here by the end of the week. WOOHOO! That means I can start laying out and designing the inserts. I.am.so.happy.
