Quote du Jour:
“Everybody move!â€
–Fezzik, The Princess Bride
The above quote represents how I felt in traffic this morning. I kept getting behind really slooooooooooooooooooooow people. Annoying. Of course, I was running a tad late when I bribed my son with donuts this morning to get him up and going. There was a big long line at the place. Hardly worth it to spend $.70 on donut holes, but oh well. And here’s another thing that annoys me. I go through three school zones on my way to the sitter/work. THREE. I always slow down to 20 mph like I’m supposed to. What I can’t stand are the people who FLY through the damn school zone. They don’t even bother to hit the brakes. And it ticks me off because there is NEVER a cop around. 👿
Tired AGAIN this morning. Yapped on the phone for about an hour and half last night and then when I crawled into bed, in order to wind down, I scribbled more of the dragon story in my notebook. (Sometimes I find that really helps, to write in longhand.) So I was up late. Then my eyes popped open at exactly 4:51 am. About nine minutes later, here comes my son. He couldn’t find Blankie. I told him we’d find it later. He crawled in bed with me and proceeded to kick me in his sleep. UGH. WHY? The little bed hog.
Chopped all my hair off yesterday. It was to the middle of my back and now it’s just below the shoulders. OMG It feels so much better AND it takes less time to wash and dry in the morning. Gotta love that.
Busy weekend ahead. Tonight is Airport Night (blech) and then tomorrow, I have to clean house, order the cake, go pick up my mom (40 miles one way…), wrap birthday presents, clean house, figure out what to cook for dinner Saturday night, schlep back to Mom’s on Sunday, do laundry, and did I mention clean house? AND just looked at the calendar and realized my chapter newsletter is due out next week and I have like one page done. Oh, and somewhere in between all of that.. I need to write those last few issues of the serial.
So. Should be interesting.
Here are today’s 10 things.

Doesn’t it feel great when you chop your hair off? So much lighter and cooler! I’m thinking about cutting mine again since I’ve let it grow this past year.
