Welcome back to my second “What I’m Working On” post. I barely got it in for the month of June!
This month, I finished the first draft of Ransom & Fortune Adventures, Volume 3 titled The Citadel. This book picks up right where Volume 2 left off and continues Skye and Dane’s adventure. Here is the tentative blog (subject to change without notice):
Still lost in time, Skye and Dane face their most dangerous enemy yet.
As Skye Ransom and Dane Fortune time jump for the third time, they leave the frozen tundra of wintertime behind, hoping they land in their own century. That hope is crushed when they wake up in a jungle with oppressive humidity and a native tribe who mistakes Skye for the Goddess of Fire. Arriving at the tribe’s village, they’re introduced to Dr. Charles Ridgewood who gives them the impression he is not what he appears.
While waiting for the time bender to reset, they’re honored guests of the Citadel’s royal family. But when Dane falls ill, and Skye is captured, the true identify of Dr. Ridgewood is revealed and an old enemy returns to finish a job he started.
Will Skye and Dane be able to reunite before it’s too late?
I’ve started preliminary work on the third book in the Dragon Protectors series, Tempting her Dragon Bodyguard. I have a general idea for the story but I’m not quite there yet to start the actual writing. I’m still on track to release that in December, though.
Also in the pipeline: the audiobook for One Knight Only will be releasing shortly! I’m SO SO excited about this!! The narrator did a fantastic job bringing those characters to life and I think you will love this version of the book. We are working on the second book, Only for a Knight. So excited for these books to come to life.
And in the currently on hold position: the audiobook for Desiring the Dragon Lord. Sadly, my narrator had to bow out, so I’ve decided to table that projects for now.
I’ve also been tinkering with a new fantasy set in the Age of Wizards world.
Also, lots of promo things going on. Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter or watch the blog for those announcements!
See you in July.
