Hey gang!! My book released on Friday, August 6. I didn’t know until Friday. LOL The publisher had to do some rearranging and I ended up right at the front of the month. YIPPEE!!
So, in honor of the release, I’m having a Martini-Fest. You’re all invited! Martinis for everyone!
*MMMM* Aren’t they good? Now then… it’s time to give away a book to one lucky commenter. Leave a comment stating you want to be in the drawing. That’s all! BUT if you leave a comment with a drink recipe for your favorite martini, you’ll get TWO entries into the drawing. That’s double your chances! AND I’ll give you until midnight CST on Tuesday, August 10 to post your favorite recipe. You have LOTS of time to enter. And it’s SO easy. How could you NOT enter?? C’mon – you know you want to!
1 part Grey Goose Vodka
1 part Rosa’s blue raspberry mix
Mix and enjoy!
And yeah – that’s it! Doesn’t that look good?
Okay – so what’s yours?
(P.S. If your comment doesn’t show up right away – don’t worry! It’s probably held up in the moderation que and I’ll get to it as soon as I can.)
Happy Belated Release Day, Michelle. I love martinis and one of my favorites is the lychee martini.
2 ounces of vodka
1 ounce of lychee juice(from a can of lychees)
2 lychees for garnish
Hi, Michelle,
I’m a newbie to this blogsite and to your books. I’m also
not a martini drinker, in fact, I’ve never tried one! Wow,
that makes me very dull-sounding! Your recipe is so simple
that I think I’ll be able to put it together. Then I’ll
invite Honey to join me in one, that is if we both will fit
in the glass!
Congratulations on the release of your book on August 6, we
wish you much luck with it! I will get it just for the title!
Pat Cochran
Jane – that sounds DELISH. I’ll have to try that. π
Hi Pat! THanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the book AND the martini. π
Happy belated release day — congrats!
BTW, you make GREAt martinis!
One of my favorite martini-type drinks is the blue one you photographed — I know it as a “Blue Angel” which is two shots of vodka and one shot of blue curacao.
Of course, I’ll drink pretty much anything with blue curacao in it!
I agree, Grey Goose is the only way to go! I love to combine my two fave loves: GG & Godiva. π
1oz Grey Goose vodka
1oz Godiva chocolate liqueur
Congrats on your new release. I love the cover!
Never really drank Martini before. Maybe I should turn a leaf. Vodka can get a bit dull sometimes. Or Gin. Always fancied Rum. Or perhaps…wait, I should stop. I’m getting thirsty.
Congrats on the book. You’re talent is inspiring to us all. π
Greetings and congrats, again, on your newest release!
I don’t drink however I love non-alcoholic pina coladas. Does that count? π
You are a very talented writer. I read the excerpt from the book and it sounds great. The cover art is nice, too.
Here’s to a Martini Monday: Have a great one!!!!
Susan (your devoted facebook fan and friend)
By the way, please include me in your drawing. Can I get an autographed copy if I win???? π
It’s actually an ebook but I can send some signed bookmarks. π
Please count me in for the contest.
Here is a recipe for a Caruso.
1oz gin + 1oz dry vermouth + dash of green creme de menthe. Pour all into a mixing glass with ice, stir well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Congrats and have a great day!
Okay, please put me in the draw (although I’ll probably buy one anyhow and just gift it if I win).
Here’s my drink recipe. I need to buy a martini shaker!
1 long-stemmed glass
1 corkscrew
1 bottle Girls Night Out Cab Merlot
Use corkscrew to remove “cork” from innards of bottle. Let breathe for 2-3 minutes as you let your dog play with the “cork”. After 2-3 minutes, tip bottle and allow delicious red fluid to gush out. Fill glass ENTIRELY or recipe is not complete. Add a magazine, bubble bath or chat with a good friend to complement drink perfectly.
RI’d like to enter drawing. My fave martini is a lemon drop
2 parts vodka
1 part lemonade
Put sugar on rim of glass
I’ve never had a Martini either. π All these recipes sure sound easy. Please enter me too. congrats on the release of your book. Sounds fabulous.

All of these sound so yummy! Keep ’em coming!
I would like to be entered in the contest. Congrats on the book release.
My husband bartends on the side and since my favorite dessert is Creme Brulee, he came up with this recipe:
3 parts Absolute Vanilla
1 part Bailey’s Caramel
Shake well, pour into chilled glass. Put a little brown sugar on the rim of the glass if you’d like.
Happy release week, Michelle. π Yes! Please enter me in your drawing. I’d love to read it.
