I have a fun little interview posted over at Peter Salomon’s blog. You can check it out here.
My draft is out to CPs. I feel pretty good about this one and am looking forward to submitting it to my editor.
On Thursday, I managed about 1000 words during the lunch hour. I’m back to working on the second knight book. It’s going to be fun. I really like Derron and Elyne and look forward to spending the next 80k with them. π
I had the worst nightmare. It was so vivid. I was in the house with the hubby and there was a hole in the ceiling. I kept telling him that there was a mouse up in the attic and he didn’t believe me. Then the mouse fell down into the house and I rushed to shut all the bedroom doors and then the thing CHARGED at me. I literally jumped out of bed. My heart was racing. When I checked the clock, it was 5 am. My alarm goes off at 6. Ugh. Naturally I started to doze off just as the alarm went off.
So I get to work and you know how smells can waft through the air? And stick with you? I’m walking behind this old guy to the elevators and the cigarette smell is reeking off him from two feet away. We get in the same elevator and I can SMELL it as if he were smoking one. Even when he got off on his floor, it left a lingering odor. It was disgusting.
I’m glad today is Friday. Let’s hope there are no more nightmares in my future. π
Happy weekend, ya’ll!
Nightmare is directly tied to your recent negative experience.
Congrats on finishing your draft.
