Hello, beautiful readers! Welcome to the 41st week of My Sexy Saturday! All month, I’m celebrating the release of my latest, A Knight Like No Other. This is the fourth book in the Realm of Honor series. (You don’t have to read the books in order to follow the story.) Today I want to feature two of the secondary characters, Lord Eldrin, a Elven ranger, is in love with the very beautiful Lady of the Skye, Lady Talaiel. He’s preparing to leave the Skye Elves and return to the Woodlands to check on his father, the king, and she is waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs. He thinks they can never be together.
And PS: I love Eldrin!
“Let me make myself clear, Lord Eldrin. I love you. I have always loved you and I think you love me too. We can find a way. There is always a way.”
His heart lurched. She had never said the words until now. She had never acknowledged their feelings for each other, the feelings they had both tried to bury. But now it was clear she had no interest in trying to hide them anymore.
Eldrin clenched his fists. To hell with rules and decorum. He’d waited long enough. He took two large steps toward her. She must have known what he intended to do before he did it, for she relaxed her hands and shoulders. Desire sparked in her silvery gaze as he took her in his arms.
His mouth met hers with such a fierce savage hunger she whimpered. Her lips yielded with such willingness his knees nearly buckled. He angled her body and pushed her backward a few steps until she bumped into the wall. He pressed against her, feeling her long, lithe body against his for the first time. Feeling the weight of her bones as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Feeling her pliant, soft lips part against his. His fingers twined in her hair that reminded him of Elven water silk. He imagined it would be that soft.
It was a kiss of longing, of desire, of lust. As though their souls touched, fused and forever entwined with each other. Never to part. Never to again be separated. And he knew in that one instance, that one exchange of breath, that he could never live the rest of his days without being able to kiss her. To love her. His thirst for her would never slake. Not after one kiss. Not ever.
When he parted from her, color stained her high cheekbones. Her lips were plump and pink from his brutal onslaught. She fought to catch her breath.
Whew…that was intense. I love a man who knows what he’s after.

And Eldrin really does! I love him. He’s one of my favorite characters. 🙂 Thanks for coming by, ND!
I’m as breathless as the heroine after that. Phew!
PJ, me too! I love those two characters. 🙂 Thanks for coming by!
