Yesterday, I was trying to figure out what my NaNo project was going to be. I was perusing my documents to see what I had that I could work on from scratch…and then it hit me! I ran across my three page synopsis of what I’m calling the Rome book. That’s what I’m going to do! I’m very excited about it and I can’t wait to get it started. And the great thing is I’ve really already fleshed out the story via the synopsis.
Tonight I’m going to work on my scene cards and start putting pieces together.
And now… Lara did this on her blog last week, so I decided to give it a try. I couldn’t stop laughing! You, too, can Yearbook Yourself by clicking here.
This is the original picture I used:
And here I am in 1952:
1960:
(I totally look like my mom in this one! hehe)
1966:
1968:
1974:
(I look like my sisters here! haha)
1990:
And that’s it! I couldn’t get any of the 1980s ones to look right, sadly. I had so much fun doing this and it totally cracked me up. NOW. I challenge YOU – go Yearbook Yourself. 😉
This is hysterical! I am so afraid to do myself!
That’s a wee bit creepy…. I look too much like my mom, so I don’t know that I wanna try it… LOL
Michelle, I really like the 1966 hairdo on you! I should try it. Maybe they’ll show I hairdo I can use.
LMAO, oh, me too. I would be afraid onhow it would turn out. Good luck on nano, and oh, I want to know MORE about the Rome project!
That last one is PRICELESS.
The glasses one is a close second! 🙂
This is too much. I look just like my father, only with hair.
My youngest daughter was doing this last week – I guess that’s why we’re paying for her to go to college?? What I found to be most interesting was how she looked like various members of the family through the years. How fun!
Totally Rad! A blast from the past!
You realize that means you need to get the MAGIC rewrite done before Nano or it’s going to keep falling further and further and further down on the list and never get out there.
as I suspected…. so my mom…LOL
Oh, I need a new hairdo! Maybe this will help.
LOL It’s so much fun. I think everyone should give it a try! 😉
Ha, Michelle, this is a blast. I love your ’66 Cadillac hair too. I don’t have to take the challenge to know I look my mother…and I don’t mind either. She’s a beauty, even at 81.
Good luck with NaNo!!
