It’s never a good sign when you go to use your curling iron…and your hair smokes. Yeah, could be a bad thing.

You know how, if you have a child in your life, you hug them and give them a rapid succession of kisses on the head or cheek or whatever? Because sometimes one just isn’t enough? Anyway, I was kissing my sweetie boy goodbye this morning and did that – on the side of his head. He then gave me a firm shove and said, “No, Mom, that’s too many.” I was only allowed one after that.

Even when they’re obnoxious, kids are precious.

Wrote about four pages of the current novella, Nice Girls Do. And that’s about it in the writing world. Do emails and blogging count?

I’m still thinking about what to do with Talk Dirty To Me. There is one place in particular I’m thinking of submitting to. I just need to get in gear and do it.

Got some bad news this morning. One of my co-workers (who is also pregnant) found out late last night her father was killed in a car accident. He lives in another state, so I’m sure getting there is the only thing she’s thinking about. I feel for her and can relate on so many levels about losing at parent during a time like that. I lost my father when I was in the early stages of pregnancy. It can’t be easy and I hope she’s all right. I’m thinking of her and her family.
