I recently upgraded my home computer from Vista to Windows 7. I have Win 7 on my work computer and LOVE IT and now I have it at home, too, and LOVE IT. Even though I was fond of Vista, it doesn’t compare to Win 7.
However, installing the new operating system has caused me to have a complete system overhaul. Which means everything was wiped out and I’m starting over. Oh, fear not. I backed up all my files and they’re safe. But I’m reinstalling all my software. Outlook was a total pain and didn’t want to play nice. So I slapped it upside the head and made it. I’m almost done copying all my files back over. A giant chore, but I’ve decided to pare the down some and only copy what I aboslutley HAVE to HAVE.
The weekend was lovely and I’m sad it’s over. We saw the new Sex and the City movie. I did a review of it over at Pop Culture Divas so pop on over and give it a read.
Other than that, not much else going on. I am working on a time travel at the moment. Got tired of the space opera for now and needed to break things up a bit.
I’m glad it’s Wednesday already!
Glad the computer’s working out. I need to do a Time Machine back-up today again. I got the gentle nudge reminder this morning. I love the fact that it takes less than 3 minutes to back everything up on Time Machine — best invention ever!
I’d love to know how Windows 7 works out for you. I liked XP and have it on my laptop but have Vista on my desktop and hate it. It’s got to the point I’m seriously considering moving to a Mac. Anyway, let us know how W7 works out. I’m keen to know.

I put Windows 7 on my kids’ computer and my mini–funny, it looks more like MAC than ever!!! Maybe that’s why you like it so much?
