Progress

For all my frustration yesterday, I did manage to get some things done. I finally revised that first chapter of NICE GIRLS DO. The first draft still needs some work, but at least it’s progress. I just have one small dilemma I’m trying to work out in the storyline before I can move forward.

Then I decided to look at MAGIC again. I love this story almost as much as I love Skye & Dane’s story. I had started rewriting this book a while back, then put it aside and ended up writing TALK DIRTY TO ME instead. Anyway, I read through and got some edits and revisions done and I’m piecing the story back together after tearing it apart. I’ve decided I’m going to submit to Samhain once it’s finished, which hopefully won’t take too much time. I hear anything over 50K words goes to print (squeal!). It would tickle me to see this book in print.

And last but not least, I did some thinking on the dragon story and finally came up with a title. I like the title. Now if I can just figure out the rest of the story. Perhaps I should try that freewriting thing and see where it goes. Even if I don’t end up writing the dragon story.

I have to be at Corporate this afternoon for a meeting, so I decided to wear my Power Gray Suit. That way I’m the epitome of professional. Wow, if only it were true. Just kidding.
