Progress is a beautiful thing

I forgot to mention yesterday I blogged over at Samhain. You can check out my Writing Isn’t For Sissies post here.

I managed to get all my laundry done yesterday. Today I will be cleaning the fish take and the litter box, making a bank run, and heading to the store to pick up a few items. I dragged the suitcases out of the closet, too, and got them all ready. I think I’m going to try something a little different this trip. Instead of taking the tote as my carry-on, I’m going to take the small wheeled suitcase and my giant Coach tote bag as my “personal item”. I know my HP Mini, camera and Nook will all fit in my Coach bag. I want to maximize all the space I can get. I know how these trips to Nationals goes. I’ll end up with a bunch of books and I’d like to avoid shipping any home this time. Although… I could pack a large flat rate box, just in case. Couldn’t I? 😀

I’m working on formatting some Word documents for one of my publishers. The average time to get one done is 2-3 hours. I got two knocked out yesterday and started on two more. I’m trying to get those finished up today and emailed to her. Plus, I’d really like to get some writing done.

The kiddo is still snoozing so I’m going to drink more coffee, catch up on some blogs and then hit it.
