Another week … gone. It amazes me how fast time seems to fly. I can’t believe it’s Friday already!
I just did not have time to post a blog for yesterday. My evening was completely gone by the time I got home, cooked dinner, got the kdi in the shower and in bed. Then I was ready to collapse. I did manage to write three days this week which put my total word count (new words that is) at just over 4500 and my total word count for the story at 44,762. I’m closer to finishing the first draft. I hope to get it wrapped up in the next week, printed, edited and sent off to CPs. I’m ready to move on to something else. I had intended to write on this one and Knight 2 but since I’m so close to the end on this one, I really wanted to get it finished first.
So that’s my writing progress update. I’m pleased with the results though I am always pushing myself to write more than what I have.
Thursday was the day of Running. My day exploded at 10 am and then I was off to the races. I went nonstop until the end of the work day and then it was rush home, get the kid, get dinner, eat dinner, rush to the school for Meet The Teacher/Curriculum, and then home by 8 pm. I have to say, I really like the kiddo’s 5th grade teacher. (And UM 5th grade?? HELLO? When did that happen?) I’m sad it’s the last year of elementary school.
I am looking forward to the weekend. Aside from the normal errands, we’re going to try to do something fun. Last weekend before school starts! 🙂
