I’ve been a busy bee. There’s lots going on and lots I want to share with the world, but I can’t just yet. It’s still a little premature.
The murder mystery game has been postponed one week – to April 21. So if you couldn’t come on the 14th, now’s your chance. We have some openings still for the game. The Romance Galleria, Shot In The Dark Mysteries, and I are all giving away fabulous prizes including $10 gift cards to Amazon.Com, a free download of Shot In The Dark Mystery game, plus a “Ransom & Fortune Survival Kit” for the crime solver (and so much more). 🙂
Anyway – hope to see you there!
Wednesday night, I got a couple of hours in on the book. I’m feeling good about it and it’s really starting to take shape. I’m going to fall short of the April 25 self-imposed deadline, though, I’m afraid. I hope to get some work done on it this weekend.
Although, I have lots of other things brewing that need to get done. Like the entries back to all the contest entrants in my chapter contes. I have got to get that done this weekend and out of my hair.
Plus I have RWA on Saturday and on Sunday, I’m visiting Brother and Best Good Friend for dinner.
Thursday night, I didn’t get much done on the book. I did get two newsletters written and ready for release, as well as a press release and some promotional things done. I also booked two more promotional events that will be forthcoming in May. Details to come on that, so stay tuned. 🙂
These new few weeks are going to be busy ones. And I feel like a total lunatic. Trying to get everything done as well as be Mom (not to mention squeeze some time out of The Man – which is sometimes like squeezing blood out of turnip) is definitely a balancing act. When I go to sleep at night, exhausted, I sleep so hard I’m shocked when the alarm goes off the next morning. Which, you know, kind of sucks to be quite honest. hehe
Life has becoming this constant state of a blur. It’s fantastic, though. My God, I love it. I do. I don’t think I’d quite know what to do with myself if I didn’t have everything going on at once.
Anyway. I do have some smashing news to report – I got the cover art for the book I’m currently in Revision Hell. And Oh.My.Gaw. It’s just beautiful. Bet you want to see it too, don’t you? You’ll just have to tune in next week to get a peek at it. I’m not letting it out until then. But it’s coming. And it’s stunning and breathtaking and I absolutely cannot WAIT to see this gorgeous cover on the actual trade paperback. And I had no idea Dane would be even hotter than he was on the first cover. The artist did a lovely job. It’s always amazing to me see the characters come to life. The second I saw it, I thought “WOW! That’s them!”
So now I’m going to go take a deep breath and take on the day. TGIF, ya’ll!
Glad you love your cover!
Me too–loving your cover is always a GOOD thing!
I’m glad you’re happy.
