It’s been a weird week. I’m glad it’s over. Yesterday was my Friday as the office is closed today. Woohoo! I can’t remember ever having Good Friday off as a holiday before so it’s kind of a nice treat.
But I have lots to do today. I intend to get my tires rotated, go the post office, have lunch with the husband and pick up the kid when he gets home from camp. I’d like to get a trip in to the library. I’m doing some research for a new series I’ve been brainstorming. I don’t know if that will happen, though. My morning is jampacked and the kid may be tired from his exciting adventures at camp. I hope he had a blast.
I’ve been writing, though. I’m close to finishing Knight 2 but I’m having trouble with the big climax at the end. There are lots of story threads coming together all at once so I need to not be confused. I’ve been doing some brainstorming about that, too, to iron out all the kinks. There are some issues I need to fix before sending it over to the CPs. I’m really ready to have this book finished and submitted so I can move on to something else. I hoped to have that done by now, but, alas, life gets in the way. Like a lot. It’s rather annoying at times. 😀
Not sure what we’re doing this weekend other than a mountain of laundry. I just know I’m looking forward to the three-day weekend.
