This past week, I attended RomCon 2013 for the first time. It was a total BLAST. I went with some of my Plotting Princesses and we had a great time hanging out with no only each other but with the readers.
One of the first things I did was Speed Dating with readers. I met some lovely people who were so much fun to talk to and get to know. I really, thoroughly enjoyed that. I also participated in the Slayers game where we rotated tables and played with readers to “kill” someone off and then everyone had to guess who the monsters were. I did that with fellow PP gal, Karilyn Bentley. We had a lot of fun doing that, even if I did screw it up the first time I played. ๐
But the highlight of my trip – for me – was getting to meet Gena Showalter, who happens to be my favorite author. She’s delightful, by the way, in person. I loved talking to her for two brief times. She was gracious and let me fan girl. ๐
Here’s a picture of us from the signing. I should preface this with I love self-portraits. It’s one of my favorite things to do and I’ve been doing it for a while now. She was kind enough to pose with me.
And yes that IS a tiara I’m wearing because I’m a PRINCESS, don’t you know ๐
Here are the seven of us Princess’s on the last day right before Sunday brunch.

And here’s the newest princess! The lovely, talented and super-fabulous, Barb Han.

There are so many stories to tell and not enough space to tell them. ๐ I had a WONDERFUL and if you were there and you met me at either Speed Dating or the signing, shoot me an email and tell me and I’ll send you a free book.
