I’m happy to report that I’m completely through all 300+ pages of my edits as of last night. I have to fix one minor plot problem and then the book can be returned back to the editor for a possible round two. I don’t know that it will need it though.
Speaking of editors… my Ellora’s Cave editor has a self-interview up over at Redlines and Deadlines in case you want to take a gander at it. You can read it here. I’m lucky to have her as my editor because she’s so darn good.
I also finished reading my CP’s latest WIP, which is an Urban Fantasy she’ll be self-publishing in a week or so. Be sure to be on the lookout for Revenge Is Sweet by Misty Evans. It’s a fantastic book with demons, witches and vampires. You’ll love it. I know I did.
So now that I’ve finished critiquing and also finished the bulk of my edits, guess what that means? Today I will be able to write new words again! YAY! So hopefully I can make up for some lost ground on the NaNo project.
I’m treating myself to a facial Saturday. I totally cannot wait.
