I have a deep love for worlds that feel just a little bit enchanted.

Places where the stars whisper secrets, where towers breathe with forgotten magic, where the sky burns with celestial storms and ancient prophecies crackle just beneath the surface. When I began writing Once Upon a Silver Strand, I knew the world had to feel as magical as the story itself.

Ariadne’s tower isn’t just a tower—it’s a prison cloaked in beauty. Nestled high above the mortal realm, it’s isolated, quiet, and full of charm on the surface. But look a little closer, and the cracks begin to show. The way the walls hum with restrained power. The way the braid must never be cut. The way time itself feels like it’s standing still.

There’s a reason for that.

You see, her story isn’t just about being trapped. It’s about being contained. Because her magic—her starlight-infused braid—isn’t meant to stay hidden forever. It was meant to bridge two worlds. To reconnect a shattered realm known as Starna with the rest of the Enchanted Realms.

Starna is a place touched by moonlight and memory. A celestial kingdom forgotten by time, fractured by betrayal, and waiting for its true heir to return. I can’t wait to show you more of it in the full-length sequel… but for now, all you need to know is that the stars are watching. And they remember.

Building this world was like piecing together a constellation—each scene, each detail, a thread in the tapestry of magic. From the Temple of Silence where Cassian served as Guardian, to the mysterious gate at the heart of the tower, every setting holds a secret.
