Anyhoo… back to my writing update. I’m trying REALLY hard to do these updates because I want to track my progress. I’m evening adding this handy progress bar:

Nodding, Fiona continued. Her heart in her throat. “I know what you intend to do to her should you find her. I know you intend to kill her to steal her magic. I won’t let you do that, Niall. I won’t.”
Again that dark look came over his face. “How did you find out about that?”
She had her ways and more secrets than she was willing to part with. One of her trips back to Faery had been to Deaglan’s workroom where he’d kept an extensive journal of his teachings of her and how he and Niall might use the child they would make together. She had been appalled and horrified to learn Niall would not only murder his own father but also his daughter to gain more power, more magic.
“It doesn’t matter how I found out only that I did. I make this promise to you here, now. Before I leave this realm, I will make sure every thought of a child we might conceive together is thoroughly and completely wiped from your mind.”
He chuckled, clearly amused at the notion of her threat. “And how do you intend to do that?”
She grinned, well pleased with the sudden solution that leapt into her mind. “I intend to kill you before you’re even born.”
