I can’t remember a February in the last few years where we’ve been slammed so hard with so much winter weather. This is the third storm and it didn’t happen exactly the way they predicted. We were supposed to get ice then sleet then snow and up to 4 inches by 8 am. Instead, we got rain then sleet then sleet then sleet. It’s just now starting to snow but it’s very fine and just a dusting. So no pretty snow pictures today. 🙂
Needless to stay, I’m stuck at home again. The wind chills are -4 and gusting up to 40 mph. We’re so not going out there. Roads are a mess. Because they’re covered in a sheet of ice and no one can drive on them. Lots of spinning out and bad wrecks and stopped traffic. No, thank you. I’d rather stay at home, safe and warm.
I did write last night for a couple of hours. I worked through finishing a couple of scenes. I didn’t keep track of my word count thought but I’m guessing it was about 1000 words or so. I also did some other administrative stuff that needed to get done.
And now it’s oatmeal and coffee time! Stay warm and safe, everyone.
