Another week done. I’m starting to think I need to figure out a way to slow down time. It’s just going way too darn fast, ya know? And I have so much to do!
Husband is working most of the weekend so I will be camped out in front of the computer to finish my book. Plus I have a newsletter to write and distribute as well as two blog posts. And I know there is a dozen other things I need to be doing but I can’t think of them at the moment. I suppose I need to start writing myself notes on Post-Its. That’s what I do at work. I stick them all over my desk and when the task is done, I toss the note. This might be a good system for the home office, too.
Hubby’s office is renovating and they were getting rid of a bunch of furniture. We have a whole office of nice furniture – desk, credenza, bookcase – coming home this weekend. Which means there will be more furniture than we know what to do with in our tiny house. We’re planning to completely redo the office. Which means…we have to take everything out to put things back in. We plan to paint, too, and put in a pocket door. I’m very excited. It will be nice to have a real office with “real” grown-up furniture.
Anyway, so that’s what’s on tap for me this weekend. Hope everyone has a great one! Come back Monday – it’s the release of Entangled!
The transition will be chaotic, but you’ll be so happy when it’s all done!
How fun! The office is my sanctuary–my favorite part of the house! You will HATE redoing all the books and papers and stuff, but once you switch out the furniture and put everything back, you will be so happy! Hooray!
